Raven L. Everidge is currently in attendance at Auburn University in Auburn, Ala. working on her Masters degree in Communication and Journalism with a concentration in public relations. Before attending Auburn University she graduated in 2007 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a minor in Music from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. where her emphasis was also in public relations.
Ms. Everidge is currently an instructor at Auburn University for COMM 1000: Basic Public Speaking. She has interned at Wicked PR in Atlanta, Ga. and Governor Bob Riley's Office in Montgomery, Ala. She has also worked at the Samford University radio station FM 91.1 Birmingham’s Smooth Jazz, was Art Director for Exodus magazine, an annual publication by Samford University students, and was page designer for the Sports and Expressions sections for the student newspaper, The Crimson.
Ms. Everidge has also created public relations campaigns for two non-profit organizations and one corporate organization. For two years while at Samford University she was elected to the SGA Senate as a member of the Public Relations Committee and was also a member of the Samford Chapter of PRSSA.
Upon acceptance of her M.A. from Auburn University in May 2010 Ms. Everidge would like to procure a career in the field of public relations, communications, event planning, marketing, or tourism in the Charleston, S.C. area.
